The next Washington legislative session is a short one, just 60 days, but 12th District Senator Brad Hawkins said there’s a lot of work to be done in that time. Hawkins joined NCWLIFE last week, with some highlights of what to watch for as the state House and Senate get back to work. Hawkins’ district was heavily redrawn in a flawed redistricting process in 2021, which subtracted most of Douglas and Okanogan counties and expanded to include parts of King and Snohomish.
