Leavenworth Mayor Carl Florea visited the State Capitol recently during the Association of Washington Cities “Advocacy Days” to discuss city priorities. Mayor Florea and Senator Hawkins had a helpful discussion on tourism issues, affordable housing, and capital budget.

Florea and Hawkins have partnered on past legislation to expand options for affordable housing, including the passage of Senate Bill 5868 in 2022. For more information on that bill, click here.
