MEDIA ADVISORY: 2013 Apple Blossom Festival royalty to visit the Capitol

Tomorrow, the 2013 Apple Blossom Royal Court will come to Olympia to visit with their 12th District senator and representatives as well as statewide elected officials. As part of their annual visit to the Capitol, the royalty and their chaperones will learn about the legislative process, be recognized with a resolution in the Senate chamber, and spend time with Washington State Supreme Court Chief Justice Barbara Madsen, Secretary of State Kim Wyman and Governor Jay Inslee.   Their hosts for the day are 12th District Sen. Linda Evans Parlette, R-Wenatchee, Rep. Cary Condotta, R-East Wenatchee, and Rep. Brad Hawkins, R-East Wenatchee. A press release with photos will be sent tomorrow after their visit.
