Senator Hawkins was proud to host the Mt. Si Girls Cross Country team recently at the State Capitol. They gathered to celebrate the team’s 4A State Cross Country Championship from last fall. Mt. Si High School in North Bend is within the Snoqualmie Valley School District.

As a former cross country runner in high school and college, Senator Hawkins’ has first-hand experience in this grueling sport. Winning a team championship in Washington state at the highest classification of 4A is an incredible achievement. Congratulations to the runners, families, coaches, staff, and community on this historic accomplishment.
